Do and Don't Before Your Treatment

If possible, please remove heavy makeup before your appointment.  This will allow me to spend more time on your actual treatment and not on makeup removal.

First time clients please try to arrive at least 10 mins before your first appointment to complete necessary paperwork.

If you are sick,or suspect you may have any sort of contagious condition, please contact me to reschedule.

Refrain from using topical retinols for at least 24 hrs prior to your treatment (note: some oral medications may also limit treatment options).

Recent cosmetic procedures or injectables will prevent or limit some treatments for a period of time. However, some options are available after 48 hrs depending on your situation. Contact me with questions.

You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire prior to treatment as some conditions restrict or limit treatment options.

Many conditions* simply limit options but I can usually find suitable treatment accommodations to work around these issues.  (*allergies, some medications, pacemakers, metal plates/pins, facial injections, pregnancy, etc.)

However, a few things will prevent  all treatment until cleared.

Please contact me to cancel or reschedule if any of the following situations apply to you.

Conditions for which I cannot provide treatment until they are cleared  -

Viral, bacterial, fungal or parasitic infections which are untreated or in an actively contagious stage. Including, but not limited to:

  • Herpes (active)
  • Facial verruca (warts on other parts or body can be covered with socks, bandage etc.)
  • Impetigo
  • Tinea (la teigne)
  • Lice or Scabies (les poux, la gale)
  • Eye infections
  • Flu or Cold when actively contagious
  • High fever, vomiting, diarrhoea

Serious medical conditions for which a doctor has not given permission for you to receive facial/spa treatments. Including, but not limited to:

  • Unstable epilepsy
  • Severe diabetes
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Active Cancer treatment
  • Recent Surgery
  • Serious Heart Conditions
